XONR8 Theater
XONR8 Theater was a continuation of our previous project, XONR8. In XONR8 Theater we worked in groups of 3-4 to create verbatim plays from interviews that we conducted with lawyers from the California Innocence Project, exonerated persons, and professionals involved in the justice system. We performed our plays at the Onstage Playhouse in Chula Vista.
After conducting our interview we created an interview map, an outline of what was said during the interview. We then created a script outline by taking pieces of the interview map and arranging them in different order to make a clear story-line. After that we transcribed the parts of the interview that we wanted to use, this became the final script. We rehearsed and edited our scripts up until our performance at the Onstage Playhouse on December 8th.

Reflection
The performance itself really summed up the project for me. It was the culmination of the project and all the effort we put into it, that's why it stands out to me. It's also what I'm most proud of from this project. A lot of people were impressed by our play and our performance, and it was awesome to see that. During the course of the project I contributed a good deal of time and effort. I worked hard on the script and it was very rewarding to have a successful performance. The biggest thing that I've learned from this project is that one should always get things done as soon as possible so that one has plenty of time to revise and rehearse.
This is my group's final script. We interviewed Dr. Steven Campman, a forensic pathologist/medical examiner.
