All-Time Greatest Panel
The "All-Time Greatest Panel" was a small project in which groups of two chose a historical American figure to play in a panel discussing president Obama's State of the Union address. My partner and I chose Woodrow Wilson.
There isn't really a moment that "sums up" this project for me. One moment that I am proud of, however, is giving my opening statement. Even though it was through last minute edits after observing the first panel's opening statement (I went second), I managed to relate current events with those that my historical figure was involved with. Later in the panel Lillian (our Director) said that my opening statement had rung true to her. The fact that I was able to make such a strong opening statement made me very happy.

I think that over all I contributed a fair amount to this project, but it was kind of like hanging on to the side of a speeding train. If it had just slowed down a little I could have done a lot more. I researched my character and current events and did my best to connect the two, but with so little time it was hard to get an in depth understanding. The biggest lesson I learned from this project, other than all the new information about Woodrow Wilson, is that I need to manage my time better. For each project I am given a limited amount of time, and I have to make the most of it.
